We are ready for the holidays this year with our small but, cutely decorated tree with other decorations up high to preserve the floor space for fun educational activities.
At Woodside Child Care Home your child will be immersed in an educationally fun environment.
Outside on the playground it is a safe and fun environment where your child will work on their gross motor skills. The equipment has educational & fun elements on every side. Under the patio during the warmer months the class will enjoy most of their day outdoors with different educational activities available, weather permitting.
Inside the classroom each child has their own labeled space for their belongings. Children can enjoy their free-play in a few different rotation educational centers like Library, Sensory, Manipulative, Block, Dramatic Play, Math, Music, writing and Art. Infants and young toddlers will have opportunities for fine and gross motor development in their own area of the classroom with a lot of the same types of centers catered to their needs. Circle time will take place at the library center or the large table. We will be working on learning the Alphabet, Numbers, Colors, Shapes, Finger-plays and other Educational needs to help each child be ready for Kindergarten.
Nutritional Meals and an afternoon snack are provided in the kitchen at a large child sized table for children that eat table foods with child sided dishes. Infants and young toddlers will enjoy their meals by the table in a feeding chair at the same hight as the table. The younger children will enjoy engaging with their friends at the table.
